Hi - my maiden name was Sarah Henson and I have been researching my family history since 1995.
My main family line is Henson and they lived on the North Buckinghamshire and South Northamptonshire borders in the villages of Passenham, Puxley, Deanshanger and probably Potterspury. So far I have managed to trace them back to around 1790 and have made lots of new friends and found many distant relatives on the way. I am also tracing my other family lines which include the Meakins from Stony Stratford, Bucks. The Goodmans from Blunham, Beds and later Newport Pagnell, Bucks. Also included are the Buckinghamshire North Crawley Agers, the Coltons from Nash, Bucks and the Bennetts and Reynolds from Beachampton, Bucks. I am researching Bargus(s) from Oxfordshire and am beginning to believe that ALL the Bargus(s) in England are related! An intriguing line of mine that I am following are the Smith and Loveridge Romanies or Gypsies who moved around LOTS but seemed to visit Northamptonshire, Oxfordshire, Worcestershire and Gloucestershire in particular.
